Southwest Antennas has released a new rugged, small form factor Omni-directional antenna that provides 4.4 – 5.9 GHz frequency coverage with 3.2 dBi of peak gain. The new antenna includes an integrated strain relief spring, covered by a weather-proof heat shrink seal that protects the attached radio and RF connector from damage.
The strain relief, plus the antenna’s small form factor, makes it ideal for space-constrained applications such as UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) and UGVs (unmanned aerial vehicles).
